From sweet blues to gritty stomping blues beats, and now having
seven nominations in the prestigious Independent Blues Awards in the USA and three back-to-back Number One Australian Blues albums, this is an artist you do not want to miss.  Matty T Wall returns to the stage for the new decade, more motivated and addictively electric than ever and the new Live album – LIVE DOWN UNDERGROUND.  Matty and the band are fresh from wowing audiences on the east coast at festivals like the massive Blues On Broadbeach where they left an indelible mark, flooring audiences and prompting follow up headline spots at future festivals.

Matty has crossed paths with legends of the scene, like Walter Trout, Eric Gales, Kirk Fletcher, Dave Hole and he gives as good as he gets, bringing the attitude of Perth Blues Rock to the international blues scene.

“I’ve been aware of Matty for a while now and have been a big fan”-Walter Trout
“I’ve watched as he’s gained in stature to become a major league blues-rocker” –Dave Hole
“I’m, sure everyone will love this. The guy is a picker”-Eric Gales

“Matty T Wall, an extraordinary blues-rock guitar player, singer,
songwriter. Echoes & elements of rock from the 60’s, but Wall’s voice hurls it into the 21stcentury, his dazzling guitar licks and solos not of this world. Wall is entitled to a little swagger—he has the chops to pull it off. Extraordinary guitar player. Jazz flavors, soul. Gritty blues-rock, rock & roll, with outstanding musicianship.” – Martine Ehrenclou, Rock and Blues Muse, Los Angeles USA, Sept 2018

Featuring Albany boys Leigh Miller on bass and Steve Brooks on Drums, this rhythm section backs up a one Matty T Wall on vocals and guitar, bringing you the most explosive blues sound Australia has seen in decades.
